Super Tuesday Bicycle Count 2010 - Tuesday 2 March

I got a message from Bicycle Victoria during the week seeking to drum up support for the Super Tuesday Bike Count 2010 which is to be held on Tuesday March 2nd as per these details:

"The Bicycle Network’s annual bike count - Super Tuesday – is happening in SA for the first time this year.

Super Tuesday is a visual bike count, which counts cyclists in the am peak from 7am – 9am. The count this year takes place on Tuesday March 2.

We are recruiting volunteers to participate in the count – there are around 22 count sites in the Adelaide CBD area. Each person who completes a successful count can nominate a club or BUG to receive $50as reward for their work. 10 counters would therefore generate $500!"

If you wish to participate in the count please log on and follow the instructions provided - it is a great way of donating your time for a few hours, getting a t-shirt and donating some money to your favourite Bicycle User Group or club (BISA!!)
